From source to course
Create your first StratoLMS site.
Start with an example course and editable Astro source. The setup wizard guides you through the configuration; the documentation takes you from authoring to deployment.
Start locally
Use Node.js 22.19.0 or newer and pnpm 11.22.0, as specified in the StratoLMS README.
npm create stratolms@latest my-course
cd my-course
pnpm installThe interactive wizard configures your site, deployment adapter, payments, and optional features, and creates .env with generated secrets. Keep that file private and add the provider credentials listed by setup. Then validate your configuration and content:
pnpm stratolms doctor
pnpm stratolms check
pnpm devOpen the local URL printed by Astro. Replace the example course with your own content and set its publication status when ready. Node.js is the default adapter; Cloudflare, Vercel, and Netlify are also supported.
